Foyer welcome
A brass plaque, a quiet cloakroom, and a host who asks whether you have come for the tasting, the salon, or both.
One dressed in linen and written in courses. One dressed in felt and written in cards, chips, and the wheel. Both live under the same Mayfair roof.
ChefessaLondon.com was imagined as a single evening in two movements: a composed meal, then a composed game. The Chefessa cooks with London markets and Italian restraint, then opens the salon for table play that is social, paced, and beautifully staged.
Guests move from linen to green baize without leaving the house. Botanical stills, citrus waters, and ceremonial teas travel with the meal. The salon keeps low light, measured conversation, and a respect for the table whether it holds a plate or a wheel.
ChefessaLondon.com is written as a sequence. Guests arrive for the kitchen, stay for the hush of green felt, and leave when the house feels complete.
A brass plaque, a quiet cloakroom, and a host who asks whether you have come for the tasting, the salon, or both.
Seasonal plates, chef-counter seats, and botanical stills. The kitchen never rushes the table that will later hold a wheel.
An arched doorway, cream chips, and a dealer who keeps the pace gracious. Seats are limited after dining service.
Spiced cacao, roasted barley tea, and a last look at the room before the house closes the evening with care.
Three signatures from the 2026 kitchen. Each dish is designed to hold its own, then lead naturally toward the salon. Pairings are botanical, citrus, and ceremonial tea.
Cured sea bream, white peach still, fennel pollen, and sea herbs. A bright first note before the house settles.
Mayfair lamb, glazed roots, rosemary smoke, and dark jus. The centre of the meal, built for warmth and pace.
Dark cacao, gold leaf, raspberry, and pistachio crumb. The last sweet note before guests cross to the felt.
When the last course is cleared, lamps drop lower and the wheel is uncovered. This is a salon for guests who enjoy the ritual of a table game, not spectacle for its own sake.
Hosts hold dining guests first. Remaining seats are released as the evening settles. Play is for adults, and the house asks every guest to keep the evening gracious.
Enter the casino experienceMahogany roulette under a single lamp. A hush, a drop, a number.
Fanned decks, a brass shoe, and cream chips for close card play.
A reserved table for parties who prefer a slower, closed sitting.
Set a personal limit. Leave the felt when the evening feels complete.
Four views of ChefessaLondon.com in 2026. The same house holds tasting plates, a marble pass, a roulette salon, and rooms kept for closed sittings.
Seats at the pass, dishes finished in view.
A close table for the rhythm of a deal.
Candlelight, gold chargers, a later hour at felt.
The 2026 calendar is short by design. We host only the gatherings that suit linen, candlelight, and a later hour at the felt.
Seats at the marble pass, then a short walk to house cards.
A four-movement menu, then a reserved wheel for the same party.
Gold chargers, string music, and a late sitting at the House Wheel.
The Chefessa cooks from London markets with Italian restraint: bright openings, hearth mains, and a cacao finale. Service is paced so the evening still has room for the salon.
